As part of our growth, we are currently looking for a talented and experienced Operations & Procurement Director to join our dynamic Operations team

Responsibilities

As the Operations and Procurement Director, you will:

  • Be responsible for running the ongoing operational needs across Personetics’ sites (e.g. facilities, vendors) as well as establishing our global procurement function.
  • Be the main point of contact for procurement efforts for the main and largest Personetics contracts and engagements with its vendors worldwide (supporting IT, Systems, Engineering, Finance, and more).
  • Manage sourcing projects to completion - work with the budget owners who are initiating the process based on business needs, through the bidding process, RFPs, supplier selection activities, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Drive continuous improvement & supplier management activities with strategic vendors.
  • Work with Legal, finance, and various Personetics teams (R&D, Product Management, HR, and others) on their requirements and long-term needs.
  • Develop and execute corporate procurement strategies, focusing on budget-saving and cost reduction.
  • Optimize the operational needs and support ongoing projects as required from time to time by the COO and CEO.   
  • Own the operations-related procurement needs such as Facilities, HR, etc.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field: Law/ Economics/Business administration/Industrial Engineer
  • A Masters’ degree/MBA would be an advantage
  • Over 5 years experience as a procurement manager/director within a global Tech company
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven experience negotiating complex Software / SaaS and development contracts
  • Solid project manager skills, with impeccable attention to detail and an ability to multi-task while remaining extremely organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with partners, internal customers, and vendors across different countries and cultures.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, develop and drive others to excellence. Previous managerial experience is required
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies. Previous experience with implementation of Purchasing/Procurement tools - advantage
  • A very high level of English, both spoken and written
  • A Strategic thinking, business acumen
  • Good presentation skills, including to senior management
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver in strict timelines
  • Experience in facilities and real estate
