About the position
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to own the company's financial reporting and compliance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, managing revenue recognition, and overseeing global tax requirements.

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Revenue Recognition: Oversee complex revenue recognition processes under ASC 606, ensuring proper treatment of SaaS/on prem models and professional services.
- Tax & Transfer Pricing: Manage ongoing tax compliance across global entities and oversee Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and intercompany agreements to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Systems Optimization: Serve as a key power user and subject matter expert for NetSuite; automate manual processes and ensure data integrity.
- Audit Management: Lead the annual audit process, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
- Operational Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and Treasury.
- Team Supervision: Manage and mentor an assistant controller, ensuring the accuracy of their work and supporting their professional development.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role within a high-tech company.
- Education: CPA certification is mandatory; Big 4 background is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, specifically regarding ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) and global tax/TP principles.
- Systems Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite is a must.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and Precision and attention to details.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
